The Psoriasis Association
The Psoriasis Association is a well-established UK based charity with three aims:-
- To raise awareness of psoriasis,
- To provide information, advice and support to those whose lives are affected by psoriasis and;
- To promote and fund research into the causes, nature and care of psoriasis and to publish and disseminate the results of that research.
Their independent information, advice and support can be accessed via a telephone (01604 251 620), WhatsApp (07387716439) and email helpline, plus website, and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. They also provide platforms for peer-to-peer support through their website forums and popular Facebook group.
Information is targeted to different groups, with a website specifically for teenagers (www.psoteen.org.uk) and a range of literature to help those newly diagnosed and those who have lived with the condition for many years.
