Hey guys

At the moment my skin is doing quite good, the skin on my face looks really good, it’s still dry & flaky but it’s not red and raw as I’ve experienced many times before. My arms and legs are okay, my arms seem to stay as they are as long as I keep using steroid creams, and my legs seem to be getting better, they’re also still quite dry and sometimes do get a bit itchy & red, but the scars seems to be clearing up 🙂 I think I’m going to start trying the new protopic cream on my arms also, just on a small patch, to see how it goes & I will let you all know 🙂

The main thing I wanted to talk about in this post is that my diet is going well, but at the moment it’s getting a little repetitive. I seem to be eating the same meals every day and it’s getting a bit boring, so I’m trying to spice my meals up a bit by changing the way I put them together and I’m trying to find some good Paleo recipes about for different things. For example, I would love to eat some kind of soup because it’s getting a bit chilly in the UK now so it would be nice to have some warm soup! (I’m not technically supposed to be eating warm soup because caveman didn’t exactly cosy up with a big bowl of warmth! But I will hopefully be able to have some once in a while so I don’t freeze to death!)

Also, it’s while I’m in college it’s quite difficult to find places around that have Paleo things to snack on, it seems that everything contains gluten or wheat or something else I’m forbidden to eat! So it’s a bit difficult at the moment, plus I really need to get something called coconut oil but it’s quite expensive and I already feel like a burden asking my parents for all the expensive organic food, maybe I’ll save up and buy a big jar myself 🙂 What is really good about the coconut oil is that I can use that with nuts & seeds and make my own snack bars to take into college so hopefully things will run much more smoothly in lessons without my stomach growling like there’s no tomorrow! Haha.

OH! & one last thing! I haven’t used steroids on my face at all for the last two days, well I did on my forehead yesterday because that’s always worse for some reason, but I haven’t used any on my cheeks and they’re still fine! So I’m hoping that that is the diet starting to take effect, fingers crossed!

Hope everyone is having a great day 😀 don’t forget to comment if you wanna ask something!

Bye guys,

Hey, my name is Brooke. Basically, I have this blog so I can talk about eczema. I have suffered with eczema all my life, and when I turned 13 it flared up for no apparent reason, and has remained basically the same. So on here I will hopefully be blogging everyday explaining new things I am using to try and fight eczema, and hopefully I will overcome it. Happy blogging!
