Raw is right!

4 Oct 2011

Hey guys

At the moment my skin is still good, I used a weaker cream on my arms yesterday to reduce the amount of strong steroid that my skin is battered with, then moved back up to the strong cream today, so I may keep doing this and slowly elongating the amount of days I use the weaker cream so I can slowly move away from the really strong cream without my skin going ballistic! Also, I haven’t mentioned before that I only use steroid creams on my legs when I get out of the shower, every other day I just moisturize them because I don’t want too many steroids going into my body all the time!

I just finished my first “raw” steak! It wasn’t completely raw, my mother cooked it for 3 minutes each side and the meat was nice and pink on the inside, it was also seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper, and it was the BEST steak I have ever had! My parents agree too! It was possibly the most perfect steak that has ever been cooked, amazing!
The meat we used was organic, which means that the animal was fed grass and not crappy fake food so they can be fattened up, which makes the meat all the more delicious!

So the raw diet is going really well, even though it’s not completely raw yet because I still cook things a bit, it’s more raw than ever! I must say I do feel a bit weird after eating that steak, and I can taste blood in my mouth a bit but it’s so worth it for that delicious steak! I had raw vegetables with the steak and I’m planning on making my favorite Paleo snack: Banana pancakes! The most delicious snack I’m eating at the moment!

Hope everyone is feeling great,

Hey, my name is Brooke. Basically, I have this blog so I can talk about eczema. I have suffered with eczema all my life, and when I turned 13 it flared up for no apparent reason, and has remained basically the same. So on here I will hopefully be blogging everyday explaining new things I am using to try and fight eczema, and hopefully I will overcome it. Happy blogging!
