A new study by Dr John McBride has found a link between acetaminophen, which is marketed as tylenol and paracetamol, and asthma.

It was discovered that paracetamol could worsen asthma symptoms in children and adults and may lead to new cases.

The risk of developing asthma increased by 60% in 6-7 year olds who had taken the drug at least once a year but less than once a month. The risk more than tripled if taken more than once a month.
