Ever since Michael Keenan’s brother, Joseph, who was seven years older than Michael, died from an asthma attack when Michael was 18, he’s been on a mission to help doctors find a cure.

Pioneering new asthma operation

Michael was diagnosed with a severe form of asthma when he was five and since then needed 12 puffs of Ventolin inhaler and four puffs of a steroid inhaler a day. Even with all the medication he would find the slightest exertion resulted in him being out of breath and the side effects of the medication gave him a dry mouth and reduced appetite.

Michael had a new pioneering operation. Find out more about Michael’s story here.
