MPs have recommended that all school children should receive body image lessons to boost self-esteem and they way they view themselves.

An inquiry has found that girls as young as 5 are worrying about body image.  This is thought to be due to parents being self conscious and media images of unrealistic bodies.

The report found that cosmetic surgery figures are up by 20% and half of girls and a third of boys have dieted at some stage.
