Hello everyone!

I’m Cookie MonStar and I’m really pleased to have been asked by Deborah from talkhealth to start blogging!

So as this is my first blog I thought I’d start by introducing myself and telling you a bit about what I’m going to be blogging about.

Like most of us I love my food, eating out etc, but I have a few food allergies and when I discovered these I also discovered how difficult it can be sometimes to find foods that don’t contain what I’m allergic to, or places to go where I can find something on the menu that I can eat …. and most importantly which taste good and are healthy.

So I started doing some research and cooking at home and I’ve come up with some wonderful recipes that over the weeks I’m going to be sharing with you.

These recipes are so easy to make, the ingredients are easy to source and best of all they all taste wonderful and are healthy.  Just because a recipe doesn’t contain certain ingredients doesn’t mean it has to be tasteless – in fact, quite the opposite!

I’ll will also be doing variations on each recipe that can be adjusted accordingly to you & other people’s dietary needs that you may be cooking for.

As well as spending time in the kitchen I also like to spend time looking good, and let’s face it, who doesn’t!

I’ll also be researching the latest chemical-free cosmetics and skin-care products and posting my findings on here.

With the amount of different toxic chemicals both in our food and our products we really do need to become aware of just what we are putting into and on our bodies…… simply by eliminating a certain food or product from our diet/beauty regime we can begin to regain full wellness in our beings.

I’m so looking forward to my blogs and hearing the feedback from you guys out there, so please do feel free to leave any comments and let me know if you have any suggestions or topics that you’d like me to research & blog about.

In the meantime I’ll leave you with a short video that I’ve made showing you how to make wheat & gluten free muffins.  Give it a go & get baking for your friends & family – they’re quick, easy, taste delicious and everyone will love you!

…and remember, whatever you do in the kitchen do it with love & glamour!
