After 5 months of training from a standing start and struggling to run a mile, to having run 10.8 miles 3 weeks ago and a practice half marathon (13.1 miles) 2 weeks ago, I now know I can do it! I am pretty much ready for the real thing on 17 March and will be on the start line at 10.30am promptly!
The weather forecast for Sunday is looking grim (lots of rain) but I’d rather that than the biting cold weather we’ve had over the last few days as I have struggled to breathe (think I may have mild asthma now but that’s another story and for another blog).
My partner and I are running for charity and have now reached and exceeded our goal to raise a minimum of £500.
