Hi all it’s been a while since my last blog.

It’s been a busy few weeks with fostering and we have enjoyed a trip to the lake district, a great place to get away and relax in balance with nature. I enjoyed some Hill Training and the children enjoyed biking, swimming bowling and running in the woods. Red squirrels enjoyed our breakfast and came in to say hi, it’s not everyday you get to touch a red squirrel!

For the last few weeks I’ve been committed to my GP referal course and keen now to finish my assignments. As well as this I’ve invested in some great functional training equipment to use with my cleints this includes the TRX syspension trainer, Tornado Balls, Battle Rope and a Weighted Club, these combined with the Swiss Ball and kettle bells make for a great functional training session. I have started a Facebook page Mark Westbrook, Peak Personal Fitness https://www.facebook.com/mark.westbrook.35?ref=tn_tnmn#!/MarkWestbrookPeakPersonalFitness

Ive added the events onto the page that I have entered into this year and these include. Gosport 5k.  Hook 10 mile fun run. Tough Mudder 10 mile obstacle course. Basingstoke half marathon and Great south run. If you are interested in these events some links are below.

I am also looking for venues locally (Gosport, Fareham, Lee on Solent area) to start my own functional training class and so fingers crossed all goes well with this.

I was really pleased that Deb is having success with the running club too! It seems I will have some competition at Basingstoke half marathon!
