…on my own! I decided that today was far too hot to do anything much other than wallow in the paddling pool at the stables for the afternoon. Here is the aforementioned paddling pool…

20130713-200618.jpg…I think that you will agree that it’s a beauty. Unlike what was wallowing in it! Here is a shameless ‘Sloggi Selfie’…

20130713-201014.jpg…not quite in the realms of those ‘selfies’ that lovely toned and tanned ladies post. I am well aware that I was in danger of being tranquillised by a passing wildlife hunter, but it was just too hot not to take advantage of it, and it was bloody wonderful!

As you can see from the pic – which in my defence was taken from a strange position…from behind my huge fecking stomach! – I am dealing with a fair bit of bulk; I rarely see my feet unless I pull a strange yoga pose! I can’t fit into the bath and have not been near a swimming pool in a long time, so to be immersed in water was wonderful. So much so, that I stayed in there for well over an hour. And if the weather is good tomorrow, I am planning on going in it again – and I might take a body scrub and pretend that it is a giant bath!

As much as I joke about stuff like this, to be so big that you cannot fit into a bath is pretty shitty. My life has been on hold for such a long bloody time. If I get stressed, well-meaning people will tell me to light some candles and relax in the bath…the candle lighting I can do, but the bath thing is well out of the question, and this makes me sad. I love products from Lush for example and would love nothing more than to have a lovely warm bath with fizzing bath bombs that smell gorgeous. Showers for me are just a way of keeping clean…there isn’t much relaxing when it comes to a shower. A huge non-scale victory will be the day that I can enjoy a nice bath without fear of getting stuck – and the fear of a fireman and his crew having to come and free me!

So my little paddling pool party was good fun. Luckily, I hadn’t got into yet when an old couple I know popped in for a chat. They had spotted my car and decided to stop. Thank God they hadn’t done it thirty minutes later…when I had stripped down to my Sloggis and a crop top that has seen better days. Bless them, they are lovely, but they don’t half pick their moments. The last unannounced visit was when we were trying to electric fence the whole field, and before that it was when I was sat in my car stuffing my face with two breakfast batches…with ketchup and egg stains on my top – this one was a while ago! And yes, I am a classy bird. ;-)

We ended up having a nice BBQ at the stables, just my other half and I and my Mum. The sight of me in the pool didn’t seem to put them off their food either! My dog also jumped – in fact, my other half picked her up and plonked her in the pool as she was so warm. Here she is…

20130713-202346.jpg…she’s a bugger at times. We try and keep her in the house, but she will always sneak into the garden and sunbathe, or find the warmest spots in the house. So I take her out in the car with me – and always take water for her, and park in shady spots with the windows open and never leave her in the car – as I can keep a closer eye on her. She is thirteen years old and still in fine form, bless her…I am really hoping that she can come with us to Scotland later in the year as she loves exploring up there with us.

The horses were in fine form too. This is my Welsh Cob tucking into some hay…

20130713-202640.jpg…and with his face covered in his dinner…

20130713-202727.jpgand here is my youngest being a plonker and trying to avoid capture…my Mum is out of shot trying to catch him!

20130713-202817.jpgAnd here he is calming down and coming in nicely…

20130713-202912.jpgHe is a handsome devil but seems to be going through a phase of spooking at everything and generally acting like a teenager! This is a little pic of my Mum’s gorgeous mare, who is heading off over the next week or so to be backed…

20130713-203055.jpgI just hope that she behaves herself! And I hope that she is a good girl for my Mum to ride too…I don’t want any mishaps!

Apologies for the picture overload, I just thought that I would share some of my lovely afternoon with you. There is no moral to today’s blog post…apart from the fact that you don’t want to let yourself get anywhere near as fat as I am – or was…remember that this is me nearly 14st down! – and that you can have a BBQ without stuffing yourself; all will be explained…

I managed to get a nice rest this morning. It wasn’t sleep so much as just lazing, but it was really lovely. When I eventually got up, the heat was already quite oppressive and the thought of getting on the treadmill wasn’t that attractive…but neither is my fat, so I just got on with it…but did moan a bit! Once I had done all of my exercise, we headed off to Boots so that my other half could get some sunglasses. We had lunch out – a jacket potato, in this heat! But it was on plan and easy to get hold of…and I had just passed through the Burger King haze/smell of cooking when I chose the potato, so I thought that was a good show of resistance and choicepower. After Boots, we headed to Asda to pick up supplies for the BBQ that we had decided to have. We were very restrained though and chose one item for the BBQ each. The rest you already know about…wallowing! And then it was home at about 7.30pm for a film…but not before another diversion to Asda as my other half was in need of a chocolate hit…I had nothing.

Breakfast: Two mini HiFi bars (1 x HEB) and a banana.

20130713-203842.jpgLunch: Jacket potato, beans and cottage cheese, followed by some raspberries and strawberries.

20130713-203941.jpg

20130713-203949.jpgDinner: Quorn lamb grills (1 syn) with Moroccan couscous (1.5 syns), BBQ’d sweet red pepper, cherry tomatoes, red onion and cheese (2 x HEA).

20130713-204233.jpgSnacks: Two packets of Snack a Jacks (9 syns).

20130713-204351.jpgA gorgeous food day today! Fairly self explanatory really though. The potato was from a van at the shopping place, and dinner was the Ainsley Moroccan couscous, with the Quorn lamb style grills. We threw the peppers on the BBQ too and they were just delicious…so lovely!

Exercise: 2 x 30 minute treadmill sessions and 1 x 15 minute BodyPump / Swiss Ball session.

Today was a toughie. My other half took a video of me after my first thirty minute session…not sure that I will ever share it as I was a bit of a moody madam in it! I also felt very faint during my BodyPump session, but as I only had a minute or two left, I just carried on. I had upped the weight that I lift…probably not such a good idea on a really hot day, but I am not renowned for my good ideas when it comes to health and fitness!

There we go then – paddling pool party pics…enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Weight Loss Bitch xxx

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
