It has been another great day…full of rainbows, horses and unicorns!

So many rainbows today – some hail, some sleet and a bit of snow too…with wind, lots of wind! I couldn’t get many rainbow pictures as I was driving, but when we got back to the cottage, that one was waiting for us.

First thing, I was rudely awoken by the alarm clock! I was in a lovely deep sleep, nice and cosy…but I had to get ready for the riding lesson Mum was having. So I got up and made breakfast and then we headed off to the stables. Mum went off on a hack and came back with a big beaming smile…her trotting was much easier today apparently…the straight line of the road helped I think.

We then popped to Fort Augustus – where lots of spending happened. I bought a unicorn, which I have rather unkindly christened my ‘fecked up’ unicorn. He looks like he’s trying hard to be a beautiful unicorn, but hasn’t succeeded…it reminded me of me when I try and put make-up on! So I had to have him! I also bought some gorgeous glass Russian dolls and my Mum bought me another lovely horse…which reminded me of my horse. And…I also succumbed to the other horses head carving…I now have not a lot of money left, and am having concerns about Freddie Freelander bursting at the seems on the way home, courtesy of our purchases! ;-)

On the subject of horses, some bloody barsteward hay thieves have been to my yard and stolen my hay…I am not at all happy, but there is not much that I can do about it really. I would bet that my horses were not best pleased to watch someone hoping over the gate and stealing their grub! I just hope and pray that they leave my horses alone…or else I will seriously invest in a rifle and will wait in the barn for them! :-)

My bestest most exciting news of the day is that I will be having a horsey lesson myself on Friday – learning how to drive a little cart! Eek! I am so bloody excited about it! Little Bramble is going to be my teacher – and I have been assured and doubly assured that he will be fine towing me along. I do worry about things like that…I would hate to think that he was struggling with me, and if I think he is, then I will hop out of the cart. But even with those concerns, I am still so bloody excited. It is like taking the first step towards me being a ‘proper’ horse person again!

Tomorrow is Segway riding…not me, but the others…I will be camera person. And Friday for my other half is now a full day of sea kayaking – we were supposed to be having a relaxing day before driving home, but he loved it, so I am happy for him to do it…even if it does mean me being up early, taking him on a 50 mile round-trip and then having to go back and get him in the evening!

Breakfast: Scrambled egg, spinach, mushroom, tomato and smoked bacon.

20131009-174152.jpgLunch: Smoked salmon and salad rolls (2 x HEB).

20131009-174257.jpgDinner: Ribeye steak with roast butternut squash, stuffed mushrooms, onions and tomato (2 x HEA).

20131009-195424.jpgSnacks: Smoked duck (fat removed!) and a nectarine, figs and plums.

20131009-195605.jpgA gorgeous food day! Brekkie was a deconstructed omelette – easier to clean the pan afterwards! ;-) Lunch was lush – some of the smoked salmon from the green fishy hut in Oban…delicious. Dinner was a gorgeous rib-eye steak with roasted veggies and mushrooms baked with garlic and herb Philadelphia – so good. Getting back to the reality of eating at home will be weird…no more scallops for a while!

Exercise: Not a great lot today really – my knee is really painful at the moment…Mum is getting the tiger balm out for me later, so hopefully that will help.

Thank you for reading…I hope that HumpDay has been good to you!

Weight Loss Bitch xxx

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
