Wowzers…today has been a hectic one. My Dad was moving house and so I got up extra early to help!My other half’s twin stayed over last night, and we were up later than usual last night and up earlier than usual this morning…I didn’t know what day of the week it was when the alarm went off!

This is a mega quick post, to let you know that I am still alive, but as I am about to fall asleep I won’t be writing much! :-(

I arrived at my Dads and got lifting and carrying and putting stuff on the van for him. He kept telling me to take it easy as I think he still worries about my ticker, bless him! It just felt amazing to be able to help him out when he needed it. This time last year there would have been no chance as I couldn’t walk far at all, let alone pick anything up! I spent over two hours helping before they headed off on the journey to their new house…and I headed to the gym! Yes, I still went to the gym after a morning of work…I have the bug! :-)

My gym visit was good. I got chatting to an ex-nurse in the pool whilst waiting for the aqua instructor, and we swapped crazy NHS stories regarding strange spending decisions…such as the one about if I had weight loss surgery, my skin removal would be approved…but won’t be as I haven’t had the surgery. So despite saving £15,000…hey, ho – that’s life and just another obstacle to get over, around or under…I will sort it!

After the gym I went to collect my other half from a country pub, where he had been enjoying a Christmas lunch with his great uncle. However, they had changed venues to a totally different village…I don’t have satnav and never use the Internet on my phone…thank goodness my Dad knows his way around and was able to give me directions. It was a joyous moment to read the text after an aqua class…he had spent the afternoon eating whilst I was trying to find him! ;-)

Then we headed to the horses, and Asda – three times as I forgot to put stuff on the list – and then home to prepare…

I am having a gathering of ladies tomorrow for some festive fun, a review of 2013 and some planning for 2014. As I am providing the food I had to do some shopping…and it was a bit hectic if I am being honest. I am looking forward to seeing everyone, so the effort is well worthwhile. I have a massive pan of veggie chilli on the cooker, loads of fruit, salad, cheese and jacket potatoes.

That’s it for me folks…no ranty post today about weight loss stupidness…I will write one of those soon, I promise! ;-)

Breakfast: Leftover tomato veggie stew with half a can of baked beans and a banana.

20131214-202011.jpgLunch: Cheese, ham, mushroom and spinach toasties with tomatoes (HEA and 2 x HEB).

20131214-202059.jpgDinner: Rice, veggies and chicken tikka (2.5 syns).

20131214-202145.jpgSnacks: Nakd bar and rice cakes (12 syns).

20131214-202239.jpgAn okay day in terms of food, but my organisation skills have been shocking today! I had leftovers for breakfast at 7.30am – which was full of garlic…kindly pointed out by my Dad! – and then didn’t eat until past 4pm…which is not good at all. I could feel myself getting tired and ratty and needed something to eat…so my cheese and ham toasties fitted the bill. Dinner was just really quick and simple as I was busy preparing for tomorrow – so a packet of Asda chicken tikka, Uncle Bens rice and a pack of Mediterranean veggies. I must try harder in terms of my prep when I know that I am going to be busy!

Exercise: 150 minutes of lifting and shifting boxes, and 60 minutes of aquafit!

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
