Panic!

21 Apr 2014

What a bloody nightmare. I had one of those moments where I thought that I had lost my completed university assignment!

The panic was immense! :-)

The focus of my writing has been negative self-talk and how powerful it can be. It limits progress, stops us from seeking new opportunities, and generally keeps us in an ever constricting comfort-zone.

I have written about it on the blog before, so I won’t harp on. Needless to say that I am all negative self-talk’d out today.

The fear when I thought that I had lost my assignment was horrid…one of those moments when your heart sinks! I have recovered it though, and have saved it in a variety of places! :-)

So today has just been spent immersed in books…which is normally something that I enjoy, but this assignment is rather vague so I am having a stab in the dark at getting it ‘right’ and getting something that the lecturer approves of.

I am going to keep this short tonight as my eyes are tired and I need to spend some time with Mr WLB…I don’t think I’ve uttered more than a few words to him today! :-)

Oh, and I just read an article about a chap who is dying of skin cancer. I am booking an appointment with my doctor to get a couple of my moles checked out as one is itchy and bleed a little yesterday. Better to be safe and get this sort of thing dealt with. Not the cheeriest of subjects I guess, but after reading how he has had to explain the situation to his young children…well, I kept thinking of my niece and nephew and think it’s time that I got myself checked out.

My PT has been emailing me today. Apparently he has been reading up about the benefit of interval training versus resistance training and wants to include more interval work…which we have introduced recently. So that bodes well for my session on Wednesday…goodness knows what he has in store for me. He also said how much he liked the box of Nakd bars we bought him for Easter…I should be on commission from Nakd! ;-)

It’s weigh-in tomorrow. I had a dream last night that I lost 7lbs…wouldn’t that be bloody marvellous?!

That’s it folks today…apologies for the shortness tonight – I am just so tired! :-)

Breakfast: Banana.

20140421-172514.jpgLunch: Mushroom, spinach, red onion, and cherry tomato omelette with cheese, on toasted wholemeal rolls (2 x HEA and 2 x HEB).

20140421-172604.jpgDinner: Pork in black bean sauce with veggies (1 syn).

20140421-202226.jpgSnacks: Nakd bars (14 syns).

20140421-172657.jpgA good food day today! Just a quick banana for brekkie as I was up late and had to pop and see the horses. Lunch was a big omelette with spinach, mushrooms, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. I topped this with cheese and had it on top of my toasted wholemeal rolls. Dinner was courtesy of the new ‘Fakeaway’ book…the black bean pork thingy…I added mushrooms to it though as I wasn’t having rice or noodles with it. And my snacks…well, it had to be Nakd bars considering my stocked cupboard! :-)

Exercise: Nothing!

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
