From 9-15 April 2014 NHS Choices and talkhealth teamed up with Allergy Academy, Action Against Allergy, Allergy UK and MedicAlert to present an online clinic on food allergies.
Alongside this, we ran a survey on food allergies. Most people who answered this survey- themselves, their partner or child had a food allergy. The most common age to having a food allergy was between 21 and 60 years.
The order of allergy presented starting with the most popular was:
- dairy
- wheat
- nuts
- gluten
- eggs
- fish
