Last year when I wrote about New Year Resolutions it was about choosing a change that you wanted to make and not what you thought you should be doing What do you Want to Change?
This year I am going to urge you to make a change that isn’t fitness, nutrition or weight motivated, by all means have those as well but I want you to add one that pertains to your mental wellbeing. This might be making sure you read a book a month (one of my resolutions), taking 10 minutes a day to meditate, practicing mindfulness, turning off all electronic devices after 9pm or just trying to get more sleep (but make it SMART!)
I am asking you to consider this type of resolution because by looking after your mental wellbeing you will probably find improving your nutrition and fitness easier.
Wishing you a Happy and Healthy 2015.
