Coffee, teas and all the mixes, nutbars, fruit bars and savoury delights all combine to motivate me back into the kitchen since retiring at 70 to continue my role of fulltime carer to my husband. Heres hoping ‘freefrom’ will be ‘freeto’ me….

  2. Tom Morrison

I’ve got type 2 D and IBS so my digestive system is a bit of a mess, they say I can be cured with a change of diet so I’m motivated and willing to try it, Gluten free is the way to go according to the people in the know, so while searching the net looking for a supplier I spotted your blog comp and thought god loves a trier!

  3. Nicola

With my dodgy stomach I’m gluten free so this hamper would be perfect for me. Gluten free brownies and Yorkshire puds! I can indulge myself yet still be good!

  4. Amelia Kennedy

My husband is gluten intolerant, so I try to steer clear of offending foods, which can be difficult at times! I also believe that gluten can be tough on the digestive system of most of us, so tend to also avoid it myself. I love a challenge so take pride in serving up gluten-free meals, which I try to make as tasty as their gluten equivalents – occasionally of course this can go horribly wrong! Also, I’m on a constant quest to find tasty and healthy shop bought products to make life a little easier for me in the kitchen …

  5. Anna

I have set myself the task of winning all of our Christmas presents and food in the name of austerity – so far we have a pencil, a trashy novel and a bottle of undrinkable plonk. Take pity on my family because when I set a challenge I stick to it – Merry Christmas!!

  6. Catherine Gregory

I would like to win because right now I am unwell with CFS/ME and I am looking at anyway possible to help me get my life back on track and diet is the first thing I am changing. By cutting out wheat, gluten, down on dairy I am hoping somehow it will have a positive effect on my health and get dream of becoming a mum back on track

  7. Lois

In our household meal building can be a nuisance,
With IBS & diabetes to overcome,
    Meal preparation can be glum!
A ‘Freefrom’ feast would make us happy!
Gluten free burgers & bombay potatoes, now there’s a tea!
Gluten free brownies for dessert…. Nice, but not so naughty!

  8. Gilla01

I should win because I’m lovely.

  9. shane weir

I have just started to struggle with ibs so I need this

  10. A K M

I’d be nuts not to try and win this prize of scrummy cashew butter, almond nut bar and chocolate striped peanut cookies.

  11. carina

    Golden Crunch-great for lunch,
    Mylk Coffee-only for me,
    Macaroons-will be gone too soon!
Nutritious food for my student brood

    Great prize

  12. tom Baines

i have ibs and the wife has the bad case of cantshutup, as you know this condition occasionally can be eased when the orifice which produces the strange noises is temporarily filled, I have tried several things but the most successful product i have found is sowans gluten free bread…this tends to tighten the muscles round the hole and stop any annoying sounds coming out

There could be nothing more perfect than a free from hamper
If I won I’d feel truly pampered
I suffer from fibromyalgia & allergies you see
So this amazing prize would be perfect for me
It’s important to me to take care of my health
And winning this prize would also help my wealth
I had to retire at 44
I had no idea what life had in store
With only a small pension & bills galore
I can’t afford to treat myself any more
This prize is a dream but I never say never
Choose me as your winner & I’ll love you forever

    • Ruth Holroyd

Hi Liz, I have chosen you as the winner and let me tell you it was such a tough choice because I know everyone here and on my whatallergy.com blog would have loved this hamper. Hey I’d love it! but I don’t get to enter. The reason I chose you was a) because you wrote a ryhming poem – no mean feat. And very impressive it was too. b) You have some really challenging conditions to live with and have had to give up work c) You are embracing life despite all this and I think you could really benefit from a gift. Please could you email me on ruth@whatallergy.com with your postal address and we’ll get the hamper sent.

    • Well done Liz for winning the hamper! Lucky you – as looks really great….

      • Ruth Holroyd

Hi Talk Health and Liz. I will need to draw another winner if I can’t get hold of Liz. I need an address for H&B to send hamper to.

  14. LOVE IT feel full just reading the contents of the hamper

  15. laura Davies

With these free from delights, I hope I just might,
become a new woman, and get myself trim.

A health kick is needed, exercise and diet,
so free from, please free me, i’m willing to try it!

  16. Dawn Canning

Following a restricted diet can be tough, time-consuming & you’re often viewed by others as a miserable, self-obsessed party pooper. I should win this hamper because if I won I would have a mega ‘Free From’ party for all my friends and show them that I wasn’t in fact a total buzzkill.
Fast-forward several hours and I would no doubt be lying semi-conscious, mouth smeared with Choc Shot, slumped in a pool of batter mix and clutching a cold dough ball.
Touchingly, ‘FRE ROM ROKS’ would be spelled out on the floor in Alphabet pasta….

  17. rominy colville

I’d love to win the hamper
off with it I ‘d scamper
I am a wizard in the kitchen
with the goodies I ll be mixing
free from treats for all the family
    except the choccie..just for me!

  18. Liz B

My dad is a coeliac and he helps me out by cooking my son’s dinner on the evenings that I’m late home from work. If I had this huge bundle of GF goodies in my kitchen, he’d have plenty to keep him going while he’s helping me !

  19. sarah mansell

From hives and rashes to bathroom dashes my food was making me sick. I had to make a change. What better than freedom food range! It is sure to do the trick

  20. Janet Dring

I have a sensitive stomach and have to be careful what I eat, I do like to try different things though to see if they agree with me. To win this would be ideal.

  21. Helen Plant

    My boyfriend has just been diagnosed with coeliac disease this week. He think gluten-free food will all be tasteless and boring. I know otherwise. We have a year-long competition going where the person who is ‘right’ the most gets treated to a mini-break by the ‘loser’. The awesomeness of this hamper would therefore be twofold;

    a) proving me right (yet again!) and getting me closer to that mini-break

    b) proving to him indoors that eating can still be fun when you go gluten-free

  22. richard scholfield

    because I’m worth it!

  23. Jo m welsh

I would like to win because everything looks so tasty and I would love to try them and share them with my family so we could all experience new foods and some tasty favourite foods there as well but good luck to everyone x

  24. Joanne O'Neill

    Me who can’t eat gluten
    And hubby can’t have dairy
    Some people call us fussy
    And others just contrary
    But intolerance ain’t easy
It’s not a choice we made
And so to win this hamper
You’d be coming to our aid
We would send out the invites
    And invite our family
    To show its not impossible
To have us round for tea

  25. Claire Willmer

Free from food is the only way for me,
With my coeliac disease its what it has to be
It tastes so good and helps my gut
Just wish the prices didn’t make me tut
    I love baking and making
    And most definitely tasting
I would love to try something new
That I don’t have to worry if theres anything in I can’t have or that’s going to make me I’ll ???

  26. Ruth Holroyd

Thanks for all your amazing responses to this competition. The offer closed at midnight on Sunday 20th September so any entries after this will not be counted. The winner will be chosen shortly and will be selected from those entries on here and also on whatallergy.com where it was initially shared. Good luck everyone.

  27. Kathleen Bywaters

I’m a student who is heading back to uni next week and I could use some delicious healthy food to take with me and convert my fellow students to healthy eating!

  28. Helen Rowles

I would like to win to help me stay focused with healthy eating. It is sometimes a lonesome trail a little friendly help on the way is always welcome.
