Did you know it’s Rosacea Awareness Month?  This month is an excellent opportunity to improve the education of rosacea, a chronic disorder of the facial skin, which affects 415 million worldwide.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition, often characterised by flare-ups and remissions, which currently, does not have a cure.

Some of these symptoms include facial redness or flushing, a burning or stinging sensation on the skin, red bumps, spots, skin dryness, plaques (raised red patches of skin), and swelling or thickening of the skin.

Here at talkhealth, we understand how difficult it can be to live with this chronic condition, as many people with rosacea also struggle with the psychological impact of the condition.

With this in mind, we have collaborated with medical experts and skin charities to help answer any questions our members have regarding the condition and have been working hard to help raise awareness this month.
