So we’re now being allowed out to exercise for longer than an hour a day….whoop whoop!

What about the the challenge of sustaining a healthy eating routine?

You’ve stocked up the fridge with fresh fruit & veg, to make sure you’re getting all the nutrients you need to keep your immune system strong.

You’ve also started to cut down on alcohol and nicotine, to reduce toxins and unnecessary weight gain (but the odd cheeky cocktail goes a long way to keeping up morale, using clear spirits – check out my next post ?).

So what else can you do?

WHAT ABOUT LIGHT INTERMITTENT FASTING?

And I don’t mean the kind where you’re going without food for days on end and knackered.

What about giving your body a rest from heavy meats and Monosaccharide carbs, by replacing a meal with a green smoothie using wheatgrass or micro algae. This doubles the strength of a short fast, and allows your body to cleanse.

Doing this will also kickstart your metabolism and begin to strengthen your immune system.

Don’t forget to get good quality rest, to allow your body to enter the state where it can heal deeply.
