Why is it, that now I’m watching what I eat, I want to see results fast! Why is it that every time I’m in the bathroom I can’t resist stepping on the scales! As if I’m going to lose a stone overnight … I know I’m not. But this morning, 3 days into my healthy eating regime, temptation got the better of me. I couldn’t resist. I stepped on those scales.
Thankfully the news was good – I’ve lost 1.5 pounds. This has spurred me on and confirms that what I’m doing is working. But I also know that as time moves on, the weight loss may slow down. So I need to find the time to exercise.
Getting to a gym is impossible. I work full time and have a growing and demanding family. I get up in the dark and get home in the dark now it’s winter, so going for a walk either at the start or end of the day is not really an option. But I have a solution. I’m going to utilise one of the children’s gadgets and use the Wii-Fit.
