In 2012 I fell pregnant with my fourth son.  It wasn’t planned but I couldn’t have been happier.  It just felt like it was meant to be.  Things were different this time though.  Five months into the pregnancy I began to feel unwell.  Everything was a struggle. I had no energy, I felt itchy and my urine turned dark orange.  Blood tests revealed that I had a severe case of ICP, otherwise known as Obstetric Cholestasis.  I saw a consultant the next day who told me the words I will never forget – there was a high chance that I would lose my baby.  The next four months consisted of a day to day battle to get me and my unborn baby through this.  You can read about my story here. http://myboysandme.co.uk/uncategorized/obstetric-cholestasis-my-story/
