Feeding salmon and cod to a baby before it reaches 9 months old could prevent breathing problems such as wheezing later on in life.

A recent study showed that half of babies in a trial who weren’t fed fish developed asthma whilst those who were given fish were half as likely to wheeze.

It is already recommended that adults eat at least 2 portions of fish per week and now this study adds to a list of previous trials and research that details the benefits of fish for children.

Do you feed fish to your baby? Would you if it might prevent asthma?
