About Dr Adam Abbs

Dr Adam Abbs is a Medicspot GP based in Manchester. He qualified as a doctor from Hull York Medical School in 2010 and then across a range of specialities in Newcastle and Manchester. He started training in hospital medicine but later retrained as a general practitioner. Following leading the development of urgent care services in North Manchester, he joined Medicspot in April 2019. He has a special interest in urgent care, greatly enjoys teaching medical students and junior doctors, and also volunteers for numerous children’s cancer charities. He enjoys adrenaline sports, keeping fit and travelling.
