My 16 year old son
I am completely at my wits end. My son has had eczema for 15 years but I don't think it has ever been this bad. For the last month I have been piling creams on him, covering him in wet bandages but nothing seems to help. Parts of his body have open cuts and the cream stings him so bad he sits and cries . It is all over his body neck eyes feet legs arms face... My heart is broke.he is allergic to most things..any advice appreciated

Hugs! For older kids, staph bacteria plays quite a big role. Possibly look into chlorhexidine-based bath lotion? For our daughter (preschooler age), we use that or wipe lesions with chlorhexidine before applying cream.
Hope things will improve,

Hey lisabelfast,
My heart goes out to you and your son. Personally I've found that dietary changes really help improve the skin. It may take awhile, but a change of diet could really help to improve his skin condition if he has not already tried that.
