Eczema in the Office
Hello, I have had very serious flare ups this year and my doctors recommended that I work from home to minimize infection. My workplace seems to think that during an infection I am unable to preform my duties because my concentration is can be affected [itching and pain] as well as my vision [swollen eyes]. I have tried to explain to them that this is not the case, and although I am in somewhat pain when flare ups occur and my vision can be affected, I am not incapable of looking at a computer screen and responding to emails or making phone calls. Where can I find evidence that show that eczema flareups are minimized in a controlled environment, and that I am not completely incapacitated when I am in the middle of a flare up?

So sorry to hear that.. can you get a letter from your dermatologist?
Hopefully any work from home arrangement won't affect your career/ job evaluation.
take care,
Mei

Re: Eczema in the Office
Hi there,
So sorry to hear about your work situation. That is just no good having to prove your condition to others.
Sorry I really cant tell you how to find that information. I've had a look for it but its so specific it will be very hard to find. Its a real shame they don't just listen to you and believe what you say! I would be frustrated.
