Washing in non-SLS soaps helped - next steps?
Eczema for ten years now - constant cracking/itching/bleeding. Tried just about eveything under the sun until two weeks ago when I washed my sheets, towels, and clothes in non- SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) soap. Also cut SLS from hand/body/hair soap. Within a few days my symptoms lessened to about 1/4 of the severity as before - no more cracking and bleeding, much itching less. The improvement stopped short of complete though - and I wonder about next steps. I guess I will now apply this to the whole family, but some forums suggest replacing your dishwasher detergent, and even suggest steering clear of non-SLS foods. Anyone have success with these additional options? Where do I begin finding out whether or not SLS has been using the processing of foods (even fruits/vegetables)? Thanks!

Hi!
I'm not sure how to find out if SLS used in cleansing vege/fruits. But glad to hear that cutting SLS had helped your skin.
Take care!
