I haven't washed my face at all in a while

I used to have bad eczema on my face that would come back upon stopping any treatment, after washing my face (with only water) my skin would be very dry. I stopped washing my face altogether between July and November. I washed my face once this month and the effects were similar. Does anyone else not wash their face or any place that is affected by eczema?

Also how often should I be washing my face?

Hi! I'm thinking if it's drying to wash face for you and thus, maybe wet wipe on cotton pad? Not sure if leaving too much dirt on face overtime will cause irritation. Hi I have bad eczema on my face and I find baths and washing can really help if you have the right moistureiser. Because my face is so dry I ues an ointment called hydromol but honestly it's a bit like Vaseline. It can be a neusance ba use its so oily and greasy it takes a while to soak in but it works wonders.
When my face is dry I just take a long bath and just gently rub off any dead or dry skin (and the rest of my body) and when I get out I pat dry and then immidietly after smother myself head to toe in hydromol. It gets everywhere so I just put on pyjamas but by morning my skin is soft and better.

I also stay away from any make up whiles of soaps, I use toilet tissue dipped in hydromol to take off any make up before bed

You can use Dermol anti microbial emollient as a substitute for soap. You can buy it over the counter from Boots pharmacy. Hope it helps!
