Help shape eczema info on NHS Choices
Hi,
I'm an editor for the NHS Choices website. I'm updating all of our eczema content (atopic, discoid, contact dermatitis, varicose, seborrhoeic) so that it has the kind of information you actually want.
With this in mind, could you tell me:
-what information on eczema you currently need?
-what information on eczema you needed when you first started researching the subject?
-what information you need or needed but couldn't find

Re: Help shape eczema info on NHS Choices
Hi!
Good to know of your initiative to update eczema info. The key topics that I think are needed, I've set it out on my blog http://EczemaBlues.com. You may want to refer to it to see what topics are of concern to parents with eczema kids.
Apart from that, I think it'd be good if NHS manages to buy or collaborate with key journals so that eczema papers can be fully accessed. For instance, the study by NEA on red skin syndrome is not fully accessible and such a shame because so many of us are waiting for the results (and not much can be learnt from the abstract).
Information on skincare products - NOT from the product company, but by dermatologists or product researchers who examine the ingredients and give an independent voice/review of what goes into these products. Not very 'sponsor friendly' but something that is very much needed to be done.
Cheers,
Mei
