Re: Eczema on eyelids

Sorry to hear! Eyelid is very difficult area to treat, given the thinness and also being so close to the eyes. Honestly I don't know how to treat the eyelid, esp when Elidel hadn't worked. For mild case, gently wipe with cotton pad and apply mildest hydrocortisone lotion. Has he been allergy tested? Your prescription comes from pediatric specialist? Just thinking that given how thin the eyelids are and if your current doc can't help further, maybe have to consult a specialist...

Hugs, take care,

Re: Eczema on eyelids

Hey, I have also been suffering from eczema on the eyelids recently.. and have found it really difficult to treat because of the large amount i naturally wipe my eyes etc. I have found that using a layer of 'epaderm cream' really helpful..and applied it like 2-3 times a day. After having the dry skin/eczema for the best part of a year on my eye lids, using the epaderm its finally started to clear up!

I hope your son gets better soon.
