helpp!! :(

I'm 23 now & have had eczema since a small child. Ive never really been able to.control it.. Unless in the summer when it doesn't flare as much. Since having my two boys my eczema has become out of control & has spread to places id never had it before. I'm covered head to toe!! I'm always given steroids which i use obviously because any relief is great, I'm sick of creaming myself, i pile it on that i cant have any clothing or bedding on me for at least 20mins
my doctors wont refer me to a dermatologist or allergy test me because they are rubbish but also don't seem to listen
I'm getting to the point of no return as i cant even play with my boys or even go out the door anymore
I'm so uncomfortable, red, sore & just so down. :( nothing seems to work on me. :( sorry about the bog rant needed to talk as ive never met or known anyone else with eczema as bad as me. Xx

Re: helpp!! :(

Oh dear! Your eczema sounds bad at the moment and could be triggered by stress? You'd know if you've gone for allergy test and they are not rubbish. If you don't have any patch of clear skin, then the allergy test for you would be IgE blood test instead of skin prick test. I always encourage taking allergy test, cos at least you've some idea on what to avoid/ potential triggers. Do seek specialist help - piling yourself in steroid cream is not good.. they are to be used of the right potency, frequency and duration. Moisturizing is good though.

Take care!
