Removing Oily Cream Residue From The Washing Maching

Hi Everyone,

I have a question about washing machines. My clothes get very greasy from the ointments and creams I use on my skin. This in turn leaves a residual of grease in the washing machine so that anyone who washes their clothes after me gets their clothes ruined as it picks up what's left in the machine, it's a nightmare. So my question: Does anyone have any good ideas for cleaning out the washing machine drum? Or for keeping it clean?
