AN ONLINE CLINIC ON ECZEMA

Voluntary group Nottingham Support Group for Carers of Children with Eczema (NSGCCE) and patient charity British Skin Foundation (BSF) have teamed up with NHS Choices and talkhealth to present an Online Clinic on Eczema.

Clinical experts will be available to answer all your questions about issues surrounding eczema and dry skin, offering advice on caring for your skin, treatments and also to provide you with valuable help and guidance.

Our experts have a wealth of knowledge and information they can share with you. Dr Jonathan Batchelor - Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Jonathan Batchelor has been a Consultant Dermatologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust since October 2010. He was trained at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

Dr Batchelor's interests are in general dermatology, clinical trials, evidence-based medicine research projects including systematic review of interventions for vitiligo.

Other positions Dr Batchelor held include: BAD National Trainee Representative 2007-9, UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network Steering Group Member 2007-present.

Dr Andrew Wright

BMedSCi LRCP MRCS MB ChB FRCP

Dr Andrew Wright has been a Consultant Dermatologist at Bradford teaching hospital NHS trust since 1990. He was trained at Edinburgh and Sheffield and qualified at Sheffield in1981.

Dr Wright is a lead clinician for skin cancer Bradford and Airedale, Hon senior lecturer at the University of Leeds and Hon visiting senior research fellow University of Bradford.

 

 

Dr Andrew Wright has been a Consultant Dermatologist at Bradford teaching hopspital NHS trust since 1990. He was trained at Edinburgh and Sheffied and qualified at Sheffield in1981.

 

Janet Keyworth - Clinical Nurse Specialist

Janet is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and has worked within Dermatology for 18 years. She runs clinics in the hospital setting and also within the Community.

One of the main conditions she sees is eczema and her role is to offer Health Education and support as well as providing a care plan on how to manage the condition.

 

 

Janet Keyworth is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and has worked within Dermatology for 18 years. She runs clinics in the hospital setting and also within the Community.

 

Sheila Robertson - Dermatology Liaison Nurse Specialist

Sheila has had a varied career in nursing, specialising in Dermatology for the past 20 years, progressing through outpatient, day treatment unit and in-patient facilities for Dermatology patients. Her present post as Dermatology Liaison Nurse Specialist, involves the follow-up of patients and families in their home environment, providing an important link between the community and hospital services.

Sheila is currently President of the British Dermatological Nursing Group, an independent, professional organisation for Dermatology nurses throughout the British Isles.

Her present post as Dermatology Liaison Nurse Specialist, involves the follow-up of patients and families in their home environment, providing an important link between the community and hospital services.
