The Sleep Council - perfect sleep environment

09-12Mar2020

ASK THE EXPERT – We all know that sleep is important – we know that it’s needed for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

More and more of us are now making sleep a priority, with a strong understanding of why a perfect bedtime routine, exercise, relaxation and healthy foods are so beneficial.

One aspect of sleep hygiene that needs more attention and should be at the forefront of the pursuit for better sleep is of course creating - and maintaining - a perfect sleep environment.

The clinic will be answering questions on how your bedroom impacts your sleep, and the methods to improve it including the bed, lighting, noise and temperature.

Lisa Artis head of The Sleep Council and Simon Williams from the National Bed Federation will be answering questions on Thursday 12th March, but the clinic will be open from Monday 9th March for you to post your questions in advance.

The Sleep Council is an impartial, advisory organisation that promotes the benefits of a good night’s sleep to health and wellbeing. Visit the Sleep Council charity page to find out more.
