Children’s Allergy Consultant - MSc Allergy, MA (Hons,) MB BS, FRCPCH

'Helen is a Children’s Allergy Consultant at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London. Helen has set up Children’s Allergy services in the community with an educational program for primary care clinicians; she also runs specialist Joint Children’s Allergy & Respiratory clinics and Joint Children’s Allergy & Gastroenterology clinics at St. Thomas’ Hospital. Helen's clinical and research interests are in food allergy prevention and diagnosis, immunotherapy, asthma, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders and eczema. She has written several publications on the role of environmental exposure to food allergens and the risk of allergic disease.

Helen has written a book in Paediatrics (Rapid Paediatrics and Child Health). She was awarded 'Health Professional of the Year' runner up in 2010 by Coeliac UK and the Barry Kay Award from the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology for research in allergy in 2013. She is the Annual Meeting Secretary for the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and is on the Health Advisory Board for Allergy UK.'
