I am a Gastroenterology and Human Nutrition Consultant at St Mark’s and Northwick Park Hospital. I have clinical interests in functional bowel disorders, the gut microbiome and conditions causing change in bowel habit. I also carry out upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.

I trained at Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London, and continued my training in London and South Coast of England. My Medical Doctorate thesis was based on artificial nutrition.

I was awarded the Gastroenterology Shire Prize for innovation in 2014 for designing and implementing a web-based patient management system, which allows patients to take greater control of their health and medical treatments. I serve on a number of national committees including British Society of Gastroenterology and co-author national reports for British Artificial Nutrition Survey.

In my spare time I enjoy the company of my friends and family. I am keen on DIY and drag my feet at gardening. I look forward to skiing and can occasionally be found on the spinning bike.
