Mr Daren Edwards

MBE RGN

Daren is the Lead Nurse for Burns and Plastic Surgery at Barts Health NHS Trust which is based at the Royal London Hospital Whitechapel, in the heart of London’s East End.

He qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Salisbury in Wiltshire and his career has spanned over 30 years the majority of this within the field of Burns and Plastic surgery. He has presented to the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses on two occasions and has also presented traumatic wound care issues both locally and to the MSc Trauma course at the Royal London. He also chairs the London Plastic Surgery Clinical Nurse Specialist Forum which promotes best practice within the speciality.
