The Online Clinic
The Online Clinic is an online platform where patients and doctors can communicate efficiently. Whether you do not have time to go to your GP or you are embarrassed to see a doctor face to face regarding a particular condition, The Online Clinic can help. We are licensed by the Care Quality Commission and we promise speed and confidentiality. But how does it work? You simply fill out a free medical consultation relevant to the condition you are suffering and the doctor will get back to you. If appropriate, the doctor will prescribe a medication, which you can then purchase on the website and get it delivered the next day.
Visit The Online Clinic for more information on our service and consultations.
Bladder & Bowel Foundation
The Bladder and Bowel Foundation (B&BF) is the only UK wide charity dedicated to helping people manage their continence needs as a result of both bladder and bowel control problems. B&BF provides information and support services, including a confidential helpline, for anyone affected by these conditions, as well as their families, carers and healthcare professionals. The charity is passionate about raising awareness of these often hidden conditions and campaigns for better services, treatments and products by working with researchers, individuals and other related organisations. B&BF aims to make a real difference to the lives of those living with bladder and bowel control problems and will work towards delivering the kind of services that meet the needs of people affected.
GMFA is the UK’s leading gay men’s health charity. HIV and sexual health are at the heart of our work but we also seek to reduce other health inequalities that affect gay men. Our aim is that no gay man suffers poor health as a result of his sexuality.
GMFA uses the knowledge and skills of our volunteers, most of them gay men, to design and plan our health promotion campaigns. These include mass and small media campaigns; FS magazine and information websites.
Men's Health Forum
Our goal is the best possible physical and mental health and wellbeing for all men and boys. There is one premature male death every five minutes and far too many men and boys suffer from health problems that could be prevented.
MGEDT (Men Get Eating Disorders Too)
PromoCon, an integral service of the charity Disabled Living North West, provides impartial information and advice to both health and social care professionals and the general public in relation to children and adults with bowel and/or bladder problems.
We are recognised as the leading national / international source of information regarding continence products, equipment and services.
We also provide high quality study days, tailor made training and an annual Continence Symposium. We provide a confidential helpline and have a wide range of free down-loadable resources and information sheets available on the PromoCon website.
Prostate Cancer UK
Prostate Cancer UK is the leading UK charity for men with prostate disease. We seek to support all men with prostate cancer and other prostate diseases to receive the best diagnosis, treatment and care, and to cure or to prolong life without unwanted side-effects.
We are here to support men living with prostate cancer and prostate disease, and the effects of treatment, by:
- providing information and support services
- funding research into the causes and treatment of prostate disease
- leading change to raise awareness and improve care, working with the general public, government, the NHS and other key partners
Tackle Prostate Cancer
Tackle Prostate Cancer is an active campaign run by the Prostate Cancer Support Federation which :
- raises awareness of prostate cancer,
- encourages early detection of prostate cancer,
- ensures that men with prostate cancer always get the best treatment whatever the stage of their disease,
- strives to remove injustices in treatment pathways offered to prostate cancer patients.
