Action Bladder Cancer UK
Action Bladder Cancer is a national charity working since 2009 to get bladder cancer recognised as a common cancer and the level of acknowledgment, public awareness, new treatments and medical research which it merits and which those with bladder cancer deserve.
Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer – it is the 7th most common in the UK (the 4th most common in men). Over 10,300 people in the UK are diagnosed with bladder cancer every year – around 50% of those will die.
Bladder & Bowel UK (formerly PromoCon)
The IBS Network is the National charity supporting patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and their families and carers PromoCon works as an integral part of the charity Disabled Living NW providing a national service for people with bladder and bowel problems. We provide impartial advice and information relating to continence issues, products and services by helping people resolve or manage their bladder and bowel problems more effectively, and provide practical solutions to what may appear initially to be irresolvable problems. The ultimate aim is to improve the quality of life for individuals, who have bladder and/or bowel problems and their families and carers.
Orchid is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to testicular, prostate and penile cancer and the only registered charity specialising in all three male cancers. Established in 1996 by a young testicular cancer patient, Colin Osborne and the oncologist who saved his life, Professor Tim Oliver, Orchid works to improve the lives of people affected by male cancers through a range of dedicated support services, education and awareness campaigns and a pioneering research programme.
The Urology Foundation
The Urology Foundation is committed to transforming the lives of people with a urology condition through ground-breaking research, training and education. The money raised is invested directly into research to find better treatments and cures, and in educational training for urology professionals to care for and help people affected by urology conditions.
