British Lung Foundation

Lung disease affects more than 12 million people across the UK. We’re here for every one of them. We are leading the fight against lung disease to make sure no one has to face it alone.

Over the past three decades, we have spent more than £24 million on research to increase survival rates, improve diagnosis, treatment and care, and develop our understanding of lung diseases.

We offer hope and support across the UK

Whether you live in the Scottish Highlands or near the beaches of Cornwall, the Welsh Valleys or over the sea in Northern Ireland, we are here for you.

We have staff throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland organising local support and campaigns to fight lung disease. We also have more than 230 Breathe Easy local support groups, where you can go to meet other people affected by lung disease and find out more about conditions.
