Epaderm from Mölnlycke Health Care, is a rich emollient used in the management of eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. Epaderm is highly versatile and can be used directly on the skin, in the bath or as a skin cleanser; providing complete emollient therapy in one product. It is suitable for all ages, including babies.
Developed by dermatologists, Epaderm has no fragrances, colourings or additives, and contains less sensitisers than other brands. It contains yellow soft paraffin, emulsifying wax and liquid paraffin, which deeply moisturise and soften the skin. Epaderm provides a film barrier, which aids moisture retention within the skin.
Epaderm Cream was recently voted Pharmacy Product of The Year 2012 by Independent Pharmacy Magazine, based on its performance and patient benefit. For more information or to buy online visit www.talkingskin.com or call Mölnlycke Health Care on 0800 7311 876.
Tubifast™ Garments is a range of ‘ready-to-wear’ full-sleeved vests, tights, leggings, socks and gloves, which are available in a range of sizes for children between the ages of 6 months and 14 years. Tubifast Garments have SoftSeam™ technology, which makes them more comfortable for children suffering with atopic eczema, as the flat seams help to prevent irritation of sensitive skin.
Tubifast Garments are ideal for use in wet wrapping, which involves applying an emollient that is then covered with a damp layer of the Tubifast Garments. With no tapes, pins or ties Tubifast Garments are easy to use and the 2-way stretch ensures complete freedom of movement, which aides compliance. Working together the emollient and the damp layer keep the skin hydrated and moist and help reduce inflammation.
You can buy some Tubifast Garments online at www.talkingskin.com, and the full range is available from your doctor.
