menopause patient support programme

All women will go through the menopause, also referred to as The Change, with symptoms tending to start between the ages of 45-55. These can include hot flushes, night sweats, difficulty sleeping, hair thinning, lack of concentration, mood changes and loss of libido. Some women will experience only minor symptoms whilst others have symptoms that can affect quality of life and emotional wellbeing. For some, the menopause may begin before the age of 40.
