Stop smoking aids
There's little doubt that trying to stop smoking is difficult. Many smokers quit and then at times of stress take up smoking again.
However, in recent years there are a whole raft of aids to help smokers to quit smoking. These include:
- special chewing gum
- electronic cigarettes
- inhalation aids
- herbal aids
Well known brands of smoking cessation aids include Nicotinell, Nicorette, NiQuitin QC and Crafe Away.
When embarking on any change it's always advisable to have a discussion with your GP as he/she can advise you on tips and techniques to make sure when you quit smoking you quit for good.
