Hey guys,

My skin is pretty much the same today as it was yesterday, but I went to the hospital today for a check up because my GP was concerned that I was using all the right creams etc & my skin wasn’t getting better (crappy doctors and their steroid creams). So when I got there the man I saw was really nice, nicer than my GP if I’m honest, and he suggested that since my face seems to be quite calm at the moment I should stop using the steroid creams, but that obviously gives me problems so he suggested I start using a protopic cream, and he said that this cream would do the same job as a steroid cream without any of the bad side effects, HOWEVER my skin may react badly to it so I have to test it on a small patch of skin first. He also gave me a cream that just came out called Epiderm cream, and I’ve previously used Epiderm but the cream was more like an ointment and was incredibly thick and hard to put on my skin (the moisturizer I use daily is also an ointment called Hydromol but it’s easier to apply and not quite so thick). So I’m quite excited to try the cream version because it will be less heavy, and less greasy!

As for the title (odd I know) I went shopping today to pick up some fruit (I eat the fruit crazy fast now that I’m on the diet, great snack) and I picked up some cherries! And they aren’t those sugar-y cherries that they shove on desserts to make it “nicer”, when actually they taste of pure artificial sugar, I bought proper cherries and they are delicious! So lovely to snack on and keep me going! As for my meal today I am having tuna, sweet potato (tastes so good!) and salad (red peppers, cucumber, lettuce and carrots) and then having a fruit salad for desert. I will also be making a TONNE banana pancakes later so I can eat a few for breakfast in the mornings 🙂

Hope everyone is feeling good today 😀

Bye guys

Hey, my name is Brooke. Basically, I have this blog so I can talk about eczema. I have suffered with eczema all my life, and when I turned 13 it flared up for no apparent reason, and has remained basically the same. So on here I will hopefully be blogging everyday explaining new things I am using to try and fight eczema, and hopefully I will overcome it. Happy blogging!
