A new study has revealed that young adults who take oral medication for acne are more prone to sore throats.

Although the researchers don’t know for sure what causes this early suggestions have included the long term use of antibiotics causing an imbalance in the bacteria in the throat which could allow infections to multiply.

At this stage no other health concerns or long term consequences of using oral acne medications have been found.
