Can you tell that this is another blog title decided by Mr WLB…something to do with SEO?! We argue over this kind of thing…it’s his day job, but promotion of my ramblings is not for me – if you like it, tell your friends…if not, don’t – that’s my kind of promotion! ;-)

Right then, let’s get to it…

20140429-175852.jpg…and just in case you missed it…

20140429-175917.jpg :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
An overload of smiles to express my happiness today.

I lost 3lbs – so that is a total of 20st 1lb…or 281lbs…or 127kgs. I finally got that 20st award and I was also Slimmer of the Week and Slimmer of the Month…my consultant made me laugh when she announced those awards as she said, ‘She’s back!’

My consultant and her hubby are ace – they made me a lovely candle to celebrate my 20st award…

20140429-182847.jpg…and apparently have been taking it to group for the past few weeks hoping that I got the losses I needed…they left it in the car today just in case – so I think that positively jinxed me! :-)

How can I not have a smile on my face today?!

I cannot begin to describe the difference that losing this weight has made to my life. I could ramble for ages…being able to play with my niece and nephew…being able to put socks on and cut my own toenails…being able to go to the bathroom unaided…being able to stand up under a hot shower for ages…being able to work with the horses more…fitting in my car without the steering wheel digging into my stomach…being able to get my seatbelt on…being able to go to the gym…more than halving my diabetes medication…getting rid of my cancerous cells…just feeling human! I feel alive and happy and thankful – and I feel proud of my efforts!

This morning, I made a new ‘progress’ photo collage…it looks like the evolution of mankind pictures you see, where they go from ape to current state. Mine look so funny – and amazing – and I promise that I will share them with you one day. I start off so big…and I am big now, but in comparison to my early pictures…well, it’s incredible really. I also saw a kneecap today which is something I haven’t seen on myself for a long while – admittedly, my leg was in a weird position…I will try and recreate it and take a picture for you! ;-)

One of the best things is now helping other people! I have just had a text from a coaching client who explained how much her head has changed and how she feels that she’s in a place that she has never been before…which is brilliant!

Apologies for all off the !!!!!! – I am just on a bit of a high tonight. :-) So high in fact that I think I need to go and calm down…so will call it a day now.

Life at 43st 5.5lbs was hard. Losing weight is hard. But I know which ‘hard’ I prefer! :-)

Other than my Slimming World group this morning, I have also been to the gym and had a full-on body workout with weights. I then grabbed lunch, headed to see the horses, and popped to the shops. I then spent the afternoon responding to messages on Twitter and Facebook…the Facebook ones always make me laugh as people confuse my update with the people who have commented on it. So I have been called all sorts of names today, been mistaken for a man a few times, had people tell me that I will waste away if I keep losing weight – hmmm…I still weight 23st 4.5lbs – and have had people saying how much they are looking forward to seeing me this weekend…when I have no idea who they are!

I also had a chap comment that he knew me when I weighed 43st+…as he was sitting on me at the time. My initial response was, ‘I cannot recall you ever sitting on me…not sure if you are trying to be funny or are just being a dick…if it’s the latter don’t bother – I can out-dick you with the delete button! :-)’ But instead of getting all riled with eejits, I just deleted the comment and deleted him…see, I am not only shrinking in stature but growing in my ability to deal with dickheads! ;-)

So that really is it today for me – I have just finished a conversation with a wonderful woman who introduced me to the gym environment again last year…and we are meeting up soon for a catch-up – and I am off to uni tomorrow for the day…which I have to say that I am not looking forward to for some reason…but I will survive! :-)

Breakfast: Banana and boiled eggs.

20140429-180259.jpgLunch: Jacket potato, beans, cottage cheese, and fruit.

20140429-180326.jpgDinner: Quorn burgers with cheese and gherkins, and roasted veggies (2 x HEA and 2 x HEB).

20140429-192741.jpgSnacks: Trek bars (22 syns).

20140429-180445.jpgA lovely food day! My eggs and banana set me up for the gym after weigh-in. Lunch was grabbed after the gym – and I made sure that there was some superfree…even though it was an addition to the meal! Then I decided that I would have burgers for dinner – with bread! – and roasted veggies, and that I wouldn’t have my usual multipack of crisps to use my full syn allowance…but a couple of protein flapjacks instead.

Exercise: 5 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes weights, 5 minutes treadmill.

Thank you for reading – and for your ongoing support…it means a lot! :-)

Weight Loss Bitch xxx

WeightLossBitch

On a health and fitness driven journey to lose over 32st / 448lbs / 203kgs – yes, it is a considerable amount – I am committed to losing my excess weight without the aid of weight loss surgery, diet pills, or quick fixes…as there aren’t any! Changing my eating habits and building up my fitness levels, along with addressing the ‘head issues’ will be crucial in order for me to achieve my goal. Living in England as a 31 year old super morbidly obese woman can be challenging to say the least. I have been shouted at in the street and verbally abused far too many times to mention; hence the name ‘Weight Loss Bitch’…the day I am just called a ‘bitch’ instead of a ‘fat bitch’ will be the day that I know I have cracked my weight loss! With many reasons to lose this weight I am documenting my journey for a number of reasons. Firstly, I would like to keep a record of the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the challenges I face with such an enormous task to tackle. Secondly, I would also like to inspire and encourage other people who are in a similar situation and to show them that significant amounts of weight can be lost naturally…with a bit of motivation, hard work, dedication and will power. Thirdly, all of the blogging, Facebook-ing, Tweet-ing, Pinterest-ing and YouTube-ing keeps me occupied and keeps my fingers out of the fridge!
