Rosacea is a chronic skin condition, often characterised by flare-ups and remissions, which currently, does not have a cure.
Some of these symptoms include facial redness or flushing, a burning or stinging sensation on the skin, red bumps, spots, skin dryness, plaques (raised red patches of skin), and swelling or thickening of the skin.
Here at talkhealth, we understand how difficult it can be to live with this chronic condition, as many people with rosacea also struggle with the psychological impact of the condition.
With this in mind, we have collaborated with medical experts and skin charities to help answer any questions our members have regarding the condition and have been working hard to help raise awareness this month.

Ask the Expert Rosacea Online Clinic
We recently co-hosted an online ‘Ask the Expert’ session with The British Skin Foundation, which was dedicated to any topic related to Rosacea.
Dr Adil Sheraz, Dr Andrew Thompson and Dr Anton Alexandroff kindly joined us to give us their advice and support. The clinic is now closed but you can view the questions and answers.
If you missed our Ask the Expert Rosacea session above, our rosacea forums are open all year and provide you with the opportunity to discuss and share your personal experiences, as well as the chance to support others who are coping with the very real physical and emotional issues of living with rosacea.
If you have any questions you’d like to ask about rosacea, please get in touch.
