Re: natural products for my baby
Have you tried Elenas Nature Collection. There is a baby range in these collections, all natural and steriod free. I have been using the standard range for over a year now and Eoin (11 yrs) is steriod free. The range is a complete regime of trinity soap, oil and day/night creams. So far this is work...

Re: Is it gone for good?
HI, I first learnt about this treatment from an advertisement link on this website. I read a lot about it and how the regime works. The stuff is expensive but if you live in the UK it's available on the NHS. I live in Ireland so that wasn't much good for me. It was ages before I gave it a try and wh...

Is it gone for good?
My son Eoin, 11 yrs, was diagnosed with eczema at 6 yrs old. We went through all the usual stuff, hospital visits, tests, steroids, protopic etc. A year last September I gave it all up driven by sheer worry about the side effects of the prescription creams and started using Elenas Nature Collection....

Re: Hawaii
Funny kinda question!!! Who knows! We holiday'd in France about 3 years ago and my son's eczema cleared up brilliant but last year we holiday'd in Italy and had an awful time battling with his skin. Both times we had constant sunshine so what was the difference? Or did the sun or environmental facto...

Re: Is anyone using Salcura? Would love feedback
Hi Annie I completely agree with you regarding the steroid merry-go-round. I too have jumped off on behalf of my son who is now 11 years. I've been using Elenas Nature Remedies for almost a year now and although it is expensive, it is managing his eczema better than anything else I've tried. If you ...

Hand Eczema
Hi, my daughter (12 yrs) just showed me her hands today. The palms are covered with a sore, itchy, dry rash. I'm pretty sure its eczema. I'm puting Fucidin H cream on it to try to get it under control. But the hands are so hard to manage cause obviously you no sooner put the cream on than she may ne...

Re: Suncream
I have used Roc on my son's skin and had no problems with it. This year I'm using Lavera Neutral which is specifically for allergic skin and is mineral based. Again he hasn't had a reaction and its very effective.

Re: Two year old with eczema
Hi I tried dietary changes too, excluding diary, citrus, tomatoes etc, but to no avail. I believe my sons eczema is hereditary as asthma and hayfever run in both families. Recently we've been told that the cause of his eczema is a faulty gene and I have read lately on the internet that research to d...

Re: Dermovate (very potent steroid): any experiences?
Hi The strongest steroid I've used on my son (10 yrs) is Elecon (potent). The summer has been tough and I'm now using it every second day but I know his skin could do with it every day as by the second day it is again red and irritated. Also the sores on his knees, feet and elbows never seem to fade...

Re: Wet Wrapping
Hi Anna I received more info today from the hospital. This is a research study with no direct benefit for Eoin. There are 3 tests, the first is a skin ph measurement which takes 2 mins, they place a measurement device next to the skin, the second is a Raman Spectroscopy measurement (measures the moi...
