Re: Mental health stigma

There is such stigma surrounding the subject of mental health: people with mental health problems don't ask to be sick: they are health patients like any other. It's like you wouldn't insult someone for having a broken leg: why should mental health be any different? I know many people who have menta...

Re: What supplements are best for depression and OCD?

While supplements like the ones you mentioned have been researched in OCD treatment studies, it's essential to remember that supplements should be used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Consulting with a healthcare provider or mental health professional is crucial to ensure you're taking t...

Re: Chronic Tension Headache and Upper Back Pain For 6 Years

I just realized this thread is 4 years old! If you're still around and reading this, I'd be really interested to hear if you've found any relief or solutions since your original post. I would also be interested if you have found a solution. Four years is a fairly long time. If you're reading this, ...

Re: Can’t reach the end of acne. Good but could be better

There are some really good foundations available on the market: if someone can't reduce their acne, then I'd advise using such a foundation.

And - again - acne is genetic and not the result of dirty skin.

Re: Mental health vs physical health

Personally speaking, my own mental health is something I concentrate on to keep me sane and just normal. This is what I do to maintain good mental health: 1. I have a set nighttime sleep pattern and rarely deviate from it. 2. I eat a balanced diet and use common sense with food to keep energy levels...

Re: Any Advice for Red Cheeks?

Becoming flushed is set off by feelings that send blood to your face, making your cheeks become red. There are a few circumstances that might make you seem as though you are becoming flushed when you are not. Chilly climate can turn your cheeks red, yet so can lupus or a hypersensitive response Thi...

Re: Health involves preventative care and proactive visits with doctors and dentists as well

Health involves preventative care and proactive visits with doctors and dentists as well. Annual checkups, immunizations, cancer screenings, dental cleanings and eye exams detect problems early. Seek care when sick or injured to prevent worsening. Take medications and supplements as prescribed. Avo...

Re: Psoriasis Red Patches on Skin.

I don't think you'll be able to completely get rid of your psoriasis but you can certainly use skin soothing creams to reduces its appearance. Don't give up hope: your skin can be treated but again it'll only reduce the soreness.
