your hair could resolve. I am just less certain about it. If your blood results are within normal that is satisfactory. Of course if they start to fall over time then action is required

I am afraid you grossly exaggerate the side effects of this treatment. Yes there are side effects but they are infrequent . There are extensive and comprehensive studies round the world of thousands of patients to justify my opinion. The other treatments for overactive thyroid also have side effects...

No there should be no problem with calcium levels when you are taking thyroxine.
The tablets for hypertension do not interfere with thyroxine absorption so there is no need to take them at different times

Yes your thyroglobulin antibody test is positive but only weakly so.It may indicate autoimmunity but the tPO antibody should be done as well. Your thyroid tests are a bit strange as your TSH is high and T4 also near the top end. I would suggest you have a T3 test done. Sometimes a lump in the multin...

Pretibial myxoedema is a sign of Graves' disease (ie autoimmune hyperthyroidism). It is not common (perhaps 5% of patients). It is difficult to treat but steroid cream and sometimes occlusive steroid dressings are used. It may never go away completely but should reduce in size considerably over time...

Hypothyroidism certainly can affect the female reproductive organs but congenital hypothyroidism , even diagnosed late but then treated is not, as far as I know, associated with PCOS.

I think an endocrinologists should review your case. he/she would be allowed to prescribe T3 if thought necessary. I would not guarrantee that this is the answer but it might be worth discussing

repeat the blood test and get the antibodies measured. In someone with a family history of thyroid disease this is essential
