The Weill Cornell Medical College suggests ‘All patients with a history of well-differentiated thyroid cancer should have yearly cervical ultrasound scanning, thyroglobulin and thyroglobulin antibodies. ‘ Why is annual cervical ultrasound scanning not included in the routine follow up care in the UK?
