Exfoliating cream
I have been told that using an exfoliating cream would be good for the scaling – is this true? Thanks

4 am start to the day
My 3 year old has started waking between 4-5am and been ready to start the day.... I can't do anything to keep him in bed (especially as it's now light so early)! He insists that I get up with him and as both of us are then so tired the afternoons are becoming hard to get through and I'm then asleep...

Mattress issues
Hi, I have Arthritis and find it hard getting comfortable at night and having trouble finding the right mattress. If my mattress is too soft my joints relax too much and I get backache. If my mattress is too hard then I get a bruised feeling having laid with my sore joints on a harder surface. I’m c...

Re: Back Pain and Shoulder Pain
I suffer back pain on and off for years after falling off a kerb and jarring my back in my 30's! I've had an MRI scan but nothing abnormal was shown... so I go along and it's fine for a couple of months and then like today I've woken up and I've niggled it somehow and its hurting like mad! I've foun...

Mindfulness for chronic pain
Everyone seems to talk about mindfulness in helping with chronic pain which I have suffered from on and off for many years, but I don’t really understand what this is and where on earth do I start as there seems to be so much information out there on the web.

Can chlamydia cause heavy periods?
I’m 17 years old and have recently started sleeping with my boyfriend. He’s the first person I’ve slept with but I’m the second woman he’s slept with. Since we started sleeping together, about 6 months now, my periods are getting heavier. Is this just a coincidence or could there be another reason. ...

Re: Bad Posture
My back is really bad and I've had to have an MRI scan on it. I have been told that my posture is very bad and that spending hours sitting at a desk incorrectly has not helped it. The physio I've been referred to is not just working with me on strengthening my back but also helping me look at my pos...

Re: Back Pain problem
Hi, I live with chronic back pain daily, and have been doing so for the past fifteen years or so.
There are a few things you could try - a tens machine can work wonders, also Lidocaine patches which are applied directly to the painful area.
Hope that you find something that works.
